Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Refrigerator Pro 508L Full-Area Ion Purification 4.0 in China, expanding its smart home appliance lineup with a high-capacity, slim-body refrigerator designed for modern kitchens. The new model is now available for pre-order and will officially go on sale on July 1.
New features and cooling technology
The Mijia Refrigerator Pro 508L focuses on three main upgrades: large storage capacity, full-area purification, and independent cooling control. Xiaomi says the refrigerator uses Full-Area Ion Purification 4.0, which is designed to deodorize the refrigerator compartment in around 3 minutes and sterilize it in around 2 minutes.
The freezer section also uses silver ion antibacterial technology, helping reduce odor and bacterial growth in frozen storage areas. More importantly, the refrigerator and freezer sections use independent evaporators and independent fans, allowing separate air circulation. This helps prevent odor mixing between fresh food, frozen meat, seafood, and drinks.
Storage capacity and design
Despite offering a total capacity of 508L, the refrigerator occupies only 0.48m² of floor space. Xiaomi uses a slim, flat design with a white “Ice Feather White” finish and a light luxury steel panel that is described as oil-resistant, easy to clean, and wear-resistant.
The internal layout includes:

- 176L freezer compartment
- 35L variable temperature compartment
- Dedicated areas for fruits, vegetables, drinks, sauces, frozen food, seafood, and meat

The refrigerator also supports Xiaomi HyperConnect, allowing smart control through Xiaomi’s ecosystem.
