New Xiaomi 20000mAh PB2045MI Power Bank Passes China’s 3C Safety Standard

Xiaomi’s new power bank model PB2045MI has passed China Compulsory Certification (3C) under the latest GB 47372-2026 national standard. This 20000mAh power bank supports bidirectional fast charging at up to 45W, an upgrade over earlier 22.5W models with the same capacity.

The PB2045MI is rated at 74Wh and features a built-in USB-C charging cable alongside USB-C and USB-A ports, forming a 2C1A output setup. Both USB-C ports handle input and output at 45W maximum, while the USB-A port delivers up to 22.5W. When multiple ports are used simultaneously, the total output is limited to 15W (5V/3A).

Compared to Xiaomi’s existing 20000mAh, 22.5W power bank, the new PB2045MI retains the same battery capacity and multi-port design but boosts USB-C fast charging speeds to 45W. It also meets enhanced battery safety requirements of the new national standard, including features like battery health monitoring, abnormality records, and traceability of product information.

This certification confirms Xiaomi’s adaptation to the updated GB 47372-2026 standard for power banks in China, integrating higher charging power alongside improved safety and monitoring functions.

The power bank’s firmware and software details have not yet been announced, and release timing is currently unconfirmed. Users interested in Xiaomi’s certified power bank updates can monitor the availability through official channels.
