A new leak from Chinese insider Digital Chat Station reveals REDMI is testing four large smartphones featuring 7-inch displays paired with massive 10,000mAh-class batteries. The leak suggests these models may arrive as early as the first half of next year.
The source previously mentioned a mysterious “sub-brand flagship line” with a 7-inch 2K display that supports a very high refresh rate and LIPO four-equal-sides battery technology. This new series was speculated to be part of the REDMI K200 lineup.
For context, the current REDMI K100 series launched in August 2026 includes the Pro Max model, which features a 6.9-inch OLED flat screen with 2608×1200 resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, LPDDR5X + UFS 4.1 storage, and a 9070mAh battery priced from about 650 USD (CNY 4,499). The upcoming models appear set to push these specs further, especially in screen size and battery capacity.
These devices are reportedly being tested with a 2nm flagship processor, indicating top-tier performance expected in the next generation REDMI phones. Several current flagship phones in the market, such as Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, use around 6.9-inch displays, so these alleged 7-inch models would represent a larger screen category.
This development points to REDMI’s continued focus on big-screen devices with extended battery life. Users interested in large-screen smartphones should monitor updates for these new models.
