Xiaomi has seemingly revealed the global launch date of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series. A new teaser shared through the company’s official social media channels points to November 17, 2026, giving international buyers a specific date to look forward to.
The clue comes from the time displayed in Xiaomi’s promotional posts. Xiaomi highlighted an unusual posting time of 11:17 AM, which points directly to November 17 (11/17). The company also shared the teaser on Instagram, adding another hint about the upcoming global announcement.
Xiaomi Uses 11:17 AM to Reveal November 17
Xiaomi previously confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro Series would launch globally in November. However, the company did not provide an exact date in its first announcement. The latest promotional campaign appears to change that. By highlighting the 11:17 AM posting time, Xiaomi is using a simple numerical clue to point towards November 17.
Xiaomi’s social media messaging also refers to 41 markets receiving the same clue, suggesting that this is part of a coordinated international campaign rather than an accidental posting time. Based on these clues, November 17, 2026, is the expected date for the global launch event.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Series Finally Comes to Global Markets
The global launch will be particularly important for Xiaomi fans. The previous Xiaomi 17 Pro Series remained exclusive to China, despite its popular secondary rear display. Xiaomi has not introduced a conventional Pro flagship globally since the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Series therefore represents a major change in the company’s international flagship lineup.
Both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are expected to join the international lineup. Reported global battery capacities are 6,000mAh for the Pro and 7,050mAh for the Pro Max, compared with 7,000mAh and 8,500mAh in China. European retailer listings have also suggested starting prices of around €1,399 for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and €1,799 for the Pro Max. These prices remain unofficial.
With November 17 approaching, Xiaomi is expected to share more details about regional availability, pricing and pre-orders.
