Xiaomi has officially published its latest Xiaomi HyperOS weekly bug fix report for May 29, 2026, confirming that several important software issues affecting flagship Xiaomi and REDMI smartphones have now been resolved internally. The newest fixes mainly target the Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and REDMI K90 Pro Max. These optimizations will arrive through upcoming Xiaomi HyperOS 3 updates in China first, followed by global releases after additional testing.
The report also highlights Xiaomi’s continued effort to stabilize Xiaomi HyperOS 3 before wider international rollout. While some listed devices are currently China-exclusive, users of future global variants may also benefit from these fixes later.

What these fixes improve for users
Most of the resolved issues involve core daily smartphone experiences including UI rendering, brightness control, gaming tools, weather synchronization, notifications, and system scheduling. Xiaomi appears to be prioritizing overall Xiaomi HyperOS 3 stability and consistency before broader expansion to more devices.
The REDMI K90 Pro Max is especially interesting because standard REDMI K series devices traditionally launch globally under the POCO brand. Although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed a global equivalent for the REDMI K90 Pro Max, some of these optimizations could later appear on future POCO devices using similar Xiaomi HyperOS frameworks.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max currently remain China-exclusive smartphones.
