REDMI K100 Pro series Use M11 OLED for Clearer, Brighter, and Power-Saving Screens

Xiaomi is set to launch the REDMI K100 Pro series on August 11, introducing the new M11 OLED material in its screens. This is the first smartphone lineup to use the M11 light-emitting material, promising clearer visuals and lower power consumption compared to previous OLED technologies.

The displays feature a 185Hz refresh rate, an uncommon specification that targets enhanced smoothness, especially for gaming. The screen also achieves a local peak brightness of 4500 nits, aiming to deliver sharper and more vivid content. The series uses a full RGB lossless arrangement combined with Xiaomi’s new-generation Super Pixel technology to improve overall image quality.

REDMI K100 Pro Max Hardware Highlights

Some details for the REDMI K100 Pro Max variant have already been disclosed. It sports a 6.9-inch ultra-narrow bezel flat screen with a metal frame that curves around four sides. Its display is the first Xiaomi gaming screen with a 185Hz native refresh rate and is optimized for over 30 popular games.

The device is powered by the 5th generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset alongside Xiaomi’s AI-powered independent display chip D2. This combination supports concurrent game superframe and super-resolution capabilities. The touch sampling rate is upgraded to 480Hz, enabling more responsive input during gameplay.

Additional gaming-focused features include a specialized antenna for low latency and Sound by Bose tuning that enhances audio cues such as gunfire and footsteps for competitive advantage.

Design and Features

The REDMI K100 Pro Max will be offered in a “Cabernet Red” color option. It features a unified metal DECO design and a new floating light ring that synchronizes with music rhythm, adding a visual flair unique to the model. Further specifications and details about the REDMI K100 Pro Max are expected to be revealed closer to the launch date. REDMI K100 will launch globally as POCO F9 Pro. K100 Pro will POCO F9 Ultra.
