Xiaomi has officially revealed the battery and charging specifications for the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro Max. The smartphone includes a large 9070mAh battery branded as Xiaomi’s “Jinsha River” cell. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, it offers 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.

The REDMI K100 Pro Max is scheduled for launch on August 11 at 19:00. The device features a 6.9-inch ultra-narrow bezel flat screen equipped with Xiaomi’s first 185Hz high refresh rate gaming display. It natively supports over 30 popular games.
Inside, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with Xiaomi’s AI-assisted dedicated gaming GPU chip D2, enabling concurrent gaming super-frame and super-resolution features. The device also upgrades its touch sampling rate to 480Hz through a flagship touch chip and uses a dedicated gaming antenna to significantly reduce latency. Sound tuning is done in collaboration with Bose to enhance in-game audio effects like gunfire and footsteps.
Design and Display Innovations
The REDMI K100 Pro Max comes in two colors: Cabernet Red and Flowing White. Its design includes a four-curve wrapped metal frame with an integrated metallic DECO and a new floating light ring that pulses with music. The display uses the newly launched M11 OLED luminous material with a super pixel full RGB lossless arrangement. Xiaomi claims this makes the screen clearer than 2K resolution and more power-efficient than 1.5K panels.
Global Version Expected as POCO F9 Ultra with Slight Changes
While the REDMI K100 Pro Max is confirmed for the Chinese market, it is reportedly expected to launch globally under the name POCO F9 Ultra. Pricing and release timelines for the global variant are not yet confirmed.
