Xiaomi Releases New HyperOS 3 Bug Fix Update

Xiaomi has officially published its latest weekly Xiaomi HyperOS 3 bug fix report through the Xiaomi Community in China, revealing a long list of issues that have now been resolved internally. The fixes target several flagship Xiaomi and REDMI devices, including the Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 14, and REDMI K90 Max.

As usual, Xiaomi stated that these fixes are currently verified on Chinese HyperOS builds first. However, global users should not worry because fixes deployed in China generally arrive in Global HyperOS updates within the following weeks after additional testing and optimization.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Focuses on Stability Improvements

According to Xiaomi’s official announcement published on May 8, 2026, developers have already fixed multiple critical bugs affecting gallery performance, AI features, app installation behavior, sidebar multitasking, and gaming frame rate support.

Several of these issues were impacting day-to-day usability on flagship devices running Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

More Devices Will Receive the Same Fixes

Xiaomi emphasized that the listed devices are only “representative models” used during validation testing. If other Xiaomi, REDMI, or POCO devices experience identical software problems, the fixes will also be adapted and distributed to those devices in upcoming updates.

This is especially important for Global users because Xiaomi traditionally rolls out fixes in China first before integrating them into Global HyperOS stable releases.

Global HyperOS Users Should Expect These Fixes Soon

Historically, Xiaomi’s China-first bug fixing strategy has worked as a preview channel for future Global releases. Once fixes prove stable on Chinese firmware, they are gradually merged into:

  • Global HyperOS builds
  • EEA ROMs
  • India ROMs
  • Turkey ROMs
  • Indonesia and other regional software branches

That means many Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 14, POCO, and REDMI users globally may receive these optimizations during upcoming weekly or monthly HyperOS updates.

Xiaomi Continues to Improve

Xiaomi has been increasing the frequency of its weekly transparency reports since the launch of Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The company now publicly tracks user-reported issues and communicates ongoing repair progress more consistently.

This strategy helps users better understand which problems are already fixed internally and which ones are still under investigation. Xiaomi also continues improving ecosystem synchronization and system stability across Xiaomi HyperOS-powered smartphones and tablets.
