Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Electric Nose Hair Trimmer Pro in China, expanding its smart personal-care lineup with a compact grooming device focused on comfort, hygiene, and portability. The new trimmer carries a regular price of 149 yuan, approximately $22, while the first-sale price is 129 yuan, approximately $19. The product is currently introduced exclusively in China for now.
What’s New
The Mijia Electric Nose Hair Trimmer Pro uses a rounded, edgeless blade head designed to reduce skin irritation during trimming. Xiaomi says the blade head has an antibacterial coating with an antibacterial rate of ≥99%, helping reduce direct bacterial contact during daily use.
One of the key design improvements is the 11° angled groove opening, which increases the hair intake area by 15.5%. This allows the moving blade to capture nose hair more efficiently while maintaining a safer trimming angle. The device also uses an 8000 RPM motor, giving it enough speed for quick and precise trimming.
Design, Battery, and Durability
The trimmer is built with a one-piece aluminum alloy body and uses an anodized matte sandblasted finish, giving it a more premium and durable feel compared with basic plastic grooming accessories. Xiaomi also made the blade head detachable, which should make cleaning easier after use.
The device supports an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can be washed directly under water. Battery life is another strong point, with Xiaomi claiming up to 150 minutes of use on a full charge. Charging is handled through USB Type-C, and a full charge takes around 1 hour.
How It Improves Daily Use
The Mijia Electric Nose Hair Trimmer Pro is clearly designed for users who want a compact, washable, and travel-friendly grooming device. The combination of an angled blade structure, high-speed motor, detachable head, and antibacterial coating makes it more practical for regular use, while the Type-C port removes the need for older proprietary chargers.
At around $19 during the launch period, Xiaomi is positioning this product as an affordable premium grooming accessory rather than a basic entry-level trimmer. The China-only launch also fits Xiaomi’s usual strategy of testing lifestyle products first in its domestic ecosystem before deciding whether to expand them globally.
