Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro with XRING O3 and 9 Pro models pass certification

Two new Xiaomi tablets have cleared certification, hinting at imminent launches. The models “M367FC” and “2612CRPFFC” are believed to be the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro and Pad 9 Pro, respectively. Both tablets are manufactured by Xi’an BYD Electronics.

Charging Specs Confirmed by Certification

The “M367FC” supports 120W fast charging, aligning it with previous rumors about the Pad 8S Pro. This model reportedly includes a large 12,000mAh battery and a 12.5-inch 3.2K LCD screen. Its camera setup is said to include a 32MP front camera and a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The device runs on the XRING O3 processor, emphasizing flagship positioning.

The “2612CRPFFC” model supports 67W charging. It is expected to be the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro, following a July 17 certification of a related Xiaomi Pad 9 model with the code M656BA. That Pad 9 features a Snapdragon 8s Gen4 chipset, a 9720mAh battery, and 45W charging support. The new 67W charge implies the Pro version offers faster charging than the standard Pad 9.

Model Numbers and Codenames Link to Xiaomi’s Tablet Lineup

XimiTime has identified internal model numbers and codenames that clarify these tablets’ lineage. The M367FC carries the internal model Q81A and the codename “yingtian.” The 2612CRPFFC is tied to Q81 and the codename “shuntian.” These follow the previous Xiaomi Pad 8 series internal codes, where P81 and P82 referenced the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 8, respectively.

This suggests the M367FC and 2612CRPFFC continue Xiaomi’s naming and hardware evolution within the Pad 8 and Pad 9 families.

What to Expect Next

Official launch details are yet to be announced. However, these certifications confirm a focus on premium specifications, including large batteries and fast charging. The Pad 8S Pro’s high-resolution display and powerful XRING O3 chipset aim to enhance Xiaomi’s tablet lineup, while the Pad 9 Pro should improve charging speeds and processing power over the non-Pro Pad 9.
