Xiaomi HyperOS 4 eligibility checker app is now available

Xiaomi HyperOS 4 is getting closer, and users can now check whether their device may receive the next major update through the MemeOS Enhancer app. The new eligibility checker automatically detects the phone or tablet model and shows expected HyperOS 4 and Android 17 support status based on Xiaomi’s update policy, previous rollout history, and known device software branches. Alongside this, the leaked HyperOS 4 Launcher can also be followed and updated through the app when a compatible version is available.

HyperOS 4 checker added to MemeOS Enhancer

MemeOS Enhancer has received a new HyperOS 4 eligibility checker, allowing Xiaomi, REDMI, and POCO users to quickly understand whether their device is likely to receive the next major HyperOS version.

The feature works automatically. After opening the app, MemeOS Enhancer detects the device model and checks its expected update eligibility. The tool also shows whether the device is expected to receive Android 17 or continue with HyperOS 4 on an older Android base, depending on Xiaomi’s software strategy.

HyperOS 4 Launcher also leaked

In addition to the new eligibility checker, the HyperOS 4 Launcher app has also been leaked ahead of the official release. This is an important development because the launcher is one of the most visible parts of Xiaomi HyperOS, directly affecting home screen animations, app opening behavior, recent apps transitions, widget handling, and overall system fluidity.

Users may also be able to follow and update the leaked HyperOS 4 Launcher directly through the MemeOS Enhancer app when a compatible package becomes available. This makes MemeOS Enhancer more than just an eligibility checker, as it also helps users access selected Xiaomi system app updates from a more organized source.

However, users should be careful when installing early launcher builds. Since HyperOS 4 has not been officially released yet, leaked launcher versions may not work correctly on all devices or ROM regions. Some functions may require newer system frameworks, Android 17-based builds, or HyperOS 4-specific components. MemeOS Enhancer provides a safer and more organized way to follow compatible Xiaomi system app updates instead of manually searching for APK files from unknown sources.

What HyperOS 4 is expected to bring

HyperOS 4 is expected to be one of Xiaomi’s biggest system updates in recent years. According to current software direction and early leaks, Xiaomi is preparing a deeper visual and technical redesign rather than a simple feature refresh. The move toward Rust is especially important. Rust-based system apps can offer better performance, stronger memory safety, and smoother long-term maintenance. Xiaomi has already started moving some system components in this direction, and HyperOS 4 may expand that transition across more built-in apps.

HyperOS 4 and Android 17 update logic

HyperOS 4 is expected to be based mainly on Android 17, but not every eligible device will necessarily receive Android 17. Xiaomi has previously released major HyperOS versions on different Android bases depending on the device.

This means some models may receive:

This is why an eligibility checker is useful. Users often confuse HyperOS version eligibility with Android version eligibility, but these are not always the same thing. A device may receive the new HyperOS interface while staying on an older Android base.

Eligible devices currently tracked by MemeOS Enhancer

The current HyperOS 4 eligibility database includes a large number of Xiaomi, REDMI, and POCO devices across flagship, mid-range, entry-level, tablet, and foldable categories.

  • Xiaomi flagship and premium devices
  • Xiaomi foldables and special models
  • Xiaomi Pad models
  • REDMI K and Turbo series
  • REDMI Note and number series
  • REDMI Pad models
  • POCO devices

How to check HyperOS 4 eligibility

Users who want to check their device status can use the MemeOS Enhancer app.

Users can also follow compatible HyperOS 4 Launcher updates through MemeOS Enhancer. Since the launcher app has already leaked before the official HyperOS 4 rollout, supported users may be able to install or update it directly from inside the app when a compatible package is available. This gives Xiaomi users an easier way to test new launcher improvements without manually downloading APK files from random sources.

Why this matters for Xiaomi users

HyperOS 4 is expected to be a major update for Xiaomi’s ecosystem. The combination of Liquid Glass-style visuals, Rust-based system apps, Android 17 support, and a redesigned launcher could make the system feel faster, cleaner, and more modern. This makes a simple eligibility checker valuable for normal users. It reduces confusion and helps users understand whether they should expect HyperOS 4, Android 17, or both.

The leaked HyperOS 4 Launcher also shows that Xiaomi is actively preparing major interface changes. Since the launcher controls the home screen, animations, and multitasking experience, it can give users an early look at the direction of the next-generation HyperOS interface.
