Xiaomi has officially introduced its new Xiaomi Jinshajiang Ultra-Thin Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W through a crowdfunding campaign on the Youpin platform in China. The new accessory arrives as a major upgrade over the company’s previously released 5,000mAh magnetic power bank, which became especially popular among iPhone users thanks to its slim design and MagSafe-style convenience.
Now, Xiaomi is bringing the same ultra-thin philosophy to a much larger 10,000mAh capacity while maintaining an impressively compact form factor.
Xiaomi’s New Ultra-Thin Power Bank Focuses on Portability and Fast Charging
The new power bank features a minimalist ultra-thin design measuring just 102 × 70.5 × 13.2mm and weighs only 195g, making it significantly slimmer than many competing 10,000mAh power banks currently available on the market.
Xiaomi says the device uses its advanced Jinshajiang silicon-carbon anode battery technology, featuring an impressive energy density of up to 840Wh/L and a flagship-grade silicon content of 16%. This allows Xiaomi to fit two internal 5,000mAh cells inside an extremely compact chassis without dramatically increasing thickness.
The company previously launched a 5,000mAh version that became highly popular, particularly among iPhone users looking for a lightweight magnetic charging solution. This new model effectively doubles the battery capacity while retaining a premium portable form factor.
20W Magnetic Wireless Charging and 45W Wired Output
One of the biggest highlights is support for 20W Max magnetic wireless charging, compatible with Xiaomi smartphones and Apple iPhones. The magnetic attachment system is designed to provide stronger alignment and more stable charging during daily use.
For wired charging, the accessory supports up to 45W Max output, with backward compatibility for 40W, 30W, and 27W charging standards. Xiaomi also confirmed support for simultaneous wired and wireless charging, allowing users to charge two devices at once.
The power bank itself can recharge at up to 30W Max input power and supports major charging protocols including PD and QC.
Enhanced Safety Features and Smart Monitoring
Xiaomi heavily emphasized safety improvements in this new model. According to the official product details, the power bank complies with China’s updated battery safety standards and includes several advanced protection mechanisms.
The accessory includes:
- Built-in NTC intelligent temperature control chip
- Large-area graphene heat dissipation material
- High-performance thermal conductive silicone
- Overcharge and overheating protection
- Battery anomaly monitoring support
Interestingly, Xiaomi also allows users to connect the power bank to a computer in order to check:
- Battery health
- Device status
- Traceability information
- Abnormality records
This is a relatively uncommon feature in consumer power banks and demonstrates Xiaomi’s growing focus on battery ecosystem transparency.
