Xiaomi’s Mijia Air Purifier 6C has started pre-sale in China with a price of 999 RMB (about $140). Designed for small to medium rooms, the purifier is built for spaces up to 68 square meters and offers strong air cleaning capabilities in a compact form.

The purifier delivers a particle CADR (clean air delivery rate) of 603 m³/h and an air volume of 9,500 liters per minute. It supports efficient air circulation across whole rooms. Its small footprint, similar in size to an A4 paper sheet (around 0.063 m²), allows easy placement in various home setups while maintaining high performance.
The device uses a six-layer composite filtering system. For virus and bacteria control, it uses an antibacterial coating combined with UV sterilization, achieving over 99.9% removal rates of eight common viruses and bacteria within one hour, including 99.99% efficiency against the H1N1 influenza virus.
Design, Noise Level, and Certifications
The air purifier features an optimized airflow design, producing only 30.4 dB(A) in sleep mode, which minimises disturbance during night use. Its structure is split into upper and lower parts, allowing easy filter replacement in three steps. The top cover, airflow channel, and filter compartment are washable for convenient maintenance.
The product carries four professional certifications, including China Quality Certification Center’s mother-baby safety, sleep quietness, allergen removal, and formaldehyde removal certification from Swiss SGS. This underlines its safety for sensitive users.
Smart Features and App Connectivity
Mijia Air Purifier 6C supports Xiaomi’s Pengpai Smart Connect (Xiaomi HyperConnect). It connects to the Mi Home app, supports Super Xiao AI voice control, and allows remote operation plus intelligent scenario setting, giving users full control of indoor air quality anywhere.
The filter life averages 6 to 12 months with a daily usage cost of around 0.55 RMB. The suggested retail price for replacement filters is 199 RMB.
