REDMI K100 gets 100W charging certification ahead of launch

Xiaomi’s upcoming REDMI K100 standard edition has passed 3C certification in China, confirming support for 100W fast charging. The phone carries model number M786BC and was listed on October 12, 2026. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, it is the standard REDMI K100 model.

REDMI K100 May Pack a 10,000mAh Battery

The 3C listing confirms 100W charging support but does not reveal the phone’s battery capacity or other hardware specifications.

An earlier leak claimed that the REDMI K100 would feature a 10,000mAh battery, a 1.5K+ display, and an IP68 rating. The same report described the phone as a REDMI K90 Ultra variant without its built-in cooling fan.

These specifications remain unconfirmed by Xiaomi. The certification alone does not establish whether the standard model will share the REDMI K90 Ultra’s hardware or firmware.

Xiaomi Plans More REDMI K100 Models

At the REDMI K100 Pro series launch event on August 11, Xiaomi China Marketing Department General Manager Wei Siqi outlined plans for a broader lineup. Alongside the REDMI K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, the company also indicated that a standard edition and a gaming flagship were planned.

Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing previously said that several flagship phones in 2026 would use previous-generation flagship processors. He mentioned the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra and Dimensity 9500 as examples, while describing the REDMI K100 series as focused on value.

The earlier leak attributed a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 chipset to the standard REDMI K100, but this detail has not been confirmed.

REDMI K100 May Remain Exclusive to China

The model number M786BC is associated with the Chinese certification listing. No global variant has been identified in the supplied information, and a global launch has not been confirmed. For now, the clearest confirmed detail is 100W fast charging.
