• August 6, 3:00 PM: HyperOS 4 launch event
• August 7, 10:00 AM: First HyperOS 4 batch begins rolling out

This means the beta itself may not be pushed tomorrow. According to the post, August 5 would be the day for promotion and beta registration, while the first rollout could begin on August 7.

Features reportedly planned for HyperOS 4

Previous leaks have linked HyperOS 4 with a major visual and technical refresh. The reported feature list includes a Liquid Glass-style interface, new glass-like interface materials, real-time light-field rendering, customizable large folders, and stacked widgets on the home screen.

Other reported changes include stacked lock-screen notifications, new system animations, an AI floating island, AI-based interface color blending, and front-facing active AI perception. Some Xiaomi system applications are also said to move to a Rust-based foundation, which could help improve reliability and performance over time.
