Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Mijia Portable Coffee Maker in China, bringing a compact outdoor-friendly espresso solution to users who want fresh coffee without carrying a full-size machine. The device is now available on e-commerce platforms, with pre-sales starting at 00:00 on June 25. Its official pre-sale price is 699 yuan, while the platform-listed final price is 594.15 yuan, approximately $83 based on a 7.17 CNY/USD conversion. Shipping is expected no later than July 2.
Portable espresso with 20Bar pressure
The Xiaomi Mijia Portable Coffee Maker is designed for travel, camping, office use, and outdoor scenarios. It measures 245mm in height and 71.5mm in width, making it compact enough to fit into a backpack while still offering a relatively complete coffee extraction system.
The biggest highlight is its 20Bar water pump pressure, which helps maintain stable extraction for espresso-style coffee. Xiaomi has also adopted a two-in-one brewing system, allowing users to choose between coffee capsules and ground coffee powder. This makes the product more flexible than many compact coffee makers that support only one extraction method.
New Features and Technical Specs
Key features include:
- 20Bar stable pump pressure
- 92°C precise temperature control
- 45-second hot and cold rapid extraction
- Capsule and ground coffee compatibility

The hot and cold extraction system is especially useful for portable use. With hot water, the machine can quickly extract an espresso-style coffee. With cold water, users can prepare an Americano-style drink without waiting for a heating process.
Battery and charging performance
The machine includes three 2500mAh batteries, giving it enough capacity for mobile use. It supports 45W USB-C charging, which allows the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes, while a full charge takes around 80 minutes.
This also means users can recharge the device with compatible power banks, making it more practical for outdoor activities, road trips, and camping.
With a final listed price of 594.15 yuan, or roughly $83, the Xiaomi Mijia Portable Coffee Maker targets users who want a compact, high-pressure coffee machine without paying premium portable espresso maker prices. Since the price is listed in yuan, the product is currently introduced exclusively in China for now, and there is no confirmed global launch schedule yet.
The IP55 rating also gives the product a stronger outdoor identity. It can handle dust, splashes, and direct rinsing, while the modular brewing chamber makes cleaning easier after use.
