Xiaomi Group Partner and President Lu Weibing shared a real-life look at the REDMI K100 standard version which is China-only device, highlighting key features ahead of its launch later this month. The phone was shown in green, revealing its design and confirming several technical aspects.

Powerful Battery and Gaming Performance
Lu Weibing stated that the REDMI K100 standard will fully inherit the “all-round” concept of the Pro series. It aims to match the Pro model’s gaming experience while pushing battery capacity to a new high within the REDMI K lineup. This suggests a focus on long-lasting usage combined with strong performance.

Confirmed Hardware Specifications and Positioning
The K100 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (referred to as Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition), ensuring flagship-level processing power. According to leaks from the digital blogger DCS, the phone will feature the largest battery ever seen in Xiaomi’s REDMI series, a discrete graphics chip, a relatively large vibration motor, and Bose dual speakers. These specifications indicate a device optimized for heavy use, especially gaming, without unnecessary gimmicks.
The K100 is expected to compete in the mass market at roughly CNY 3,500 (~$490). Xiaomi’s official REDMI account confirmed the model’s arrival this month, though the exact release date remains undisclosed.

Charging and Network Certification
Recent certification shows the REDMI K100 supports 100W fast charging, which aligns with its large battery and gaming focus. This feature aims to reduce downtime despite the sizeable battery capacity.
