Back in December 2025 my Xiaomi 11T Pro has been stolen. Since I didn’t really have much money at that time (250€ saved up) I had to search for a phone. In that price range I could have gotten a Galaxy A17 5G (256GB+8GB), Galaxy A26 (128GB+6GB) and a resealed Xiaomi 13T (256GB+8GB). Of course, I picked the Xiaomi, since it gives the most bang for the buck, and also because of HyperOS 3. I’m starting to regret my decision of buying this phone since after 3 months of use I haven’t gotten it. Meanwhile my friends with other phone brands got Android 16 back in October/November/December. It sucks to see this particular model being amongst the last phones that didn’t get a stable Android 16 build.

People really believe that this 99% is relevant and true information, I would say that 90% has already been completed, but there are many devices that have not yet received it, and not just the 13t, it doesn’t make sense to give ratings to this type of article.

Using 13T, initially saw that it would be updated to HyperOs3. I waited for 3 months hoping to use HyperOs3. Then I heard the news that this update would be canceled, which made me very sad and disappointed. I have no words. I will keep waiting. If there is no update to Hyper3, this will probably be my last device from XIAOMI.

I know it’s not the end of the world with 13T not receiving the HyperOS 3 update yet but it’s just frustrating to be honest given that March is ending. They say Xiaomi is encountering issues or problems with a specific kernel for 13T but still that’s frustrating as they haven’t rectified this yet.
