REDMI K100 Pro Max will officially launch on August 11 at 7 PM, featuring the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This was confirmed by Lu Weibing, Xiaomi’s president and REDMI brand general manager.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 built on the second-generation 3nm process delivers impressive power. According to Lu Weibing, the chip scores 4.555 million points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark and includes a PC-grade architecture with dual extra-large CPU cores. It also pairs a “crazy engine” with the dedicated AI display chip D2, supporting what Xiaomi calls “full-blooded flagship performance.”
The REDMI K100 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch ultra-narrow bezel flat screen and a four-curved metal frame. Its design highlights include an integrated metal deco and a new floating light ring that moves with music. The device is available in a “Cabernet Red” color variant, as previously revealed.
Global POCO F9 Ultra Connection Confirmed
Previously hinted and now confirmed, the global release of this model will arrive as the POCO F9 Ultra. This means that while the REDMI K100 Pro Max branding is used in China, international markets will see it under the POCO sub-brand with a different name but presumably similar specifications.
