Xiaomi 17 Series Hits 5 Million Sales Milestone

The Xiaomi 17 series has reportedly crossed another major sales milestone in China, showing that Xiaomi’s premium smartphone strategy continues to gain strong momentum. According to market blogger RDObservation, cumulative sales of the Xiaomi 17 series reached approximately 5.08 million units by W22 2026, which covers the period from May 25 to May 31. This means the series has officially passed the 5 million mark, further strengthening Xiaomi’s position in the flagship smartphone market.

Xiaomi 17 Series Keeps Expanding

The Xiaomi 17 series with the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. These models were introduced as Xiaomi’s new-generation digital flagship lineup and were among the first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform.

The latest report suggests that the series continued to perform strongly after launch, especially as Xiaomi expanded the lineup with additional models such as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, Xiaomi 17 Max, and the Xiaomi 17T Series.

According to the same report, China only Xiaomi 17 Max sales are now being included in the overall Xiaomi 17 series total starting from this week. Early figures also suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Max reached around 53,300 units, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra reached approximately 219,600 units. The original Xiaomi 17 series started a $625.

Xiaomi’s Premium Push Is Working

The 5 million sales milestone is important because it shows that Xiaomi is not only competing in the value flagship segment but also gaining serious traction in the premium market. Earlier reports indicated that the Xiaomi 17 series had reached around 3.5 million units by late February and around 4.7363 million units by early May. The new 5.08 million figure shows that demand remained active even months after launch.

This performance also supports Lu Weibing’s previous comments that the Xiaomi 17 series became the best-selling product in the history of Xiaomi’s digital series. The Pro models appear to have played a major role in this growth, as Xiaomi continues to push stronger cameras, better displays, larger batteries, and more advanced HyperOS experiences into its flagship devices.
