MediaTek released its financial report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, covering July to September of 2026. The company recorded a total revenue of 168.057 billion New Taiwan Dollars (NTD), marking an 18.3% increase compared to the same period last year and a 10.4% rise quarter-over-quarter.

Net profit attributable to shareholders was 27.882 billion NTD, representing a 10.6% year-on-year growth and a 14.6% increase quarter-on-quarter. However, operating cash flow turned negative at -4.256 billion NTD, shifting from positive figures in both the prior year and previous quarter.
This quarterly performance contrasts with MediaTek’s first half of fiscal 2026, where net profit declined by 15.2% year-over-year. The company’s Q3 rebound shows improving profitability and revenue strength amid a challenging market.
By comparison, other semiconductor companies reported mixed results for the third quarter of 2026: Intel posted an 18% drop in net profit to $3.32 billion, while TEL achieved a 41.3% revenue increase. Regional peers such as Jiangbolong and Lankei Technology saw massive net profit gains, whereas Sanan Optoelectronics reported a net loss.
