Xiaomi has introduced the Mi Home Inflator 3, the latest version of its portable tire inflator. It is now available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi Mall and Xiaomi Youpin, priced at 199 yuan (about $28) with an early bird offer of 179 yuan (about $25).
Improved Features and Hardware
The Mi Home Inflator 3 features a powerful motor and a 21mm high-precision alloy die-cast cylinder. It delivers a maximum pressure of 150 psi and offers a 25% faster inflation speed compared to its predecessor.
The device includes two built-in 2500mAh lithium batteries, totaling 5000mAh. Xiaomi states this capacity can support up to 10 car tire inflation cycles, 19 road bike fills, or 80 size-7 basketball inflations on a single charge.
New Pressure Release Valve and Display
A new pressure release valve has been added to make pressure adjustment more convenient. The inflator also comes with a visual display that shows real-time inflation progress. Users can set the target pressure manually or select preset modes for one-touch inflation that stops automatically when the desired pressure is reached.
Equipped with a digital chip sensor, the device offers a precision of ±1 psi. It automatically calibrates pressure at startup and handles altitude adjustments for highland environments.
Additional Lighting and Modes
The Mi Home Inflator 3 includes a built-in LED light that supports both fill-light and SOS modes, enhancing usability in dark or emergency situations.
