Xiaomi has officially initiated a multi-terminal closed beta for its powerful AI Agent, Xiaomi miclaw. Extending far beyond the mobile ecosystem, this highly anticipated testing phase introduces dedicated support for PC, Mac, and Smart Displays. While currently in a closed testing phase exclusive to the Chinese market—featuring devices like the REDMI K90 series, which traditionally launches globally under the POCO brand—this update signals a massive leap forward in Xiaomi’s cross-device automation capabilities. You can’t use it even you download it because of beta test program.
The Power of MiMo on Desktop8v
Powered by Xiaomi’s proprietary MiMo large model, Xiaomi miclaw is evolving from a standard mobile assistant into a system-level execution tool. The newly introduced PC and Mac versions bring intelligent automation directly to desktop environments. Users can now leverage miclaw for advanced document organization, data analysis, and batch file processing.
Most importantly, this beta unlocks seamless cross-device collaboration. A single natural language voice command on your PC can now automatically trigger and schedule tasks across your smartphone or IoT smart home devices.
Furthermore, the update brings Xiaomi miclaw to the Xiaomi Smart Home Screen 11. Designed for multi-user family scenarios, it supports continuous multi-turn conversations and allows the display to autonomously plan and execute complex tasks—like travel planning or smart home routines—without needing a smartphone as an intermediary.

This beta fundamentally transforms how users interact with their hardware. Instead of manually configuring complex smart home routines or jumping between devices to transfer data, users can rely on natural language processing to trigger automated multi-device actions. For example, the smart speaker can handle the initial voice interaction, while the PC or smartphone automatically handles the deep editing and final execution. It pushes AI out of a simple chat window and turns it into an active, system-wide executor.
