Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Dual-Camera Edition in China, bringing a fully wireless outdoor security solution with built-in 4G connectivity, solar charging, dual cameras, and free data support. The device has been listed on Xiaomi Youpin with a crowdfunding price starting at 579 yuan, which is approximately $85 based on the latest CNY/USD exchange rate. Crowdfunding will begin in China on July 6 at 10:00 AM.
What makes this camera different?
The biggest advantage of the new Xiaomi Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Dual-Camera Edition is its independent installation design. It does not require a power cable, Ethernet cable, or Wi-Fi connection. Instead, Xiaomi has equipped the camera with dual 4G SIM card support, allowing users to switch between networks for more stable outdoor connectivity.
For power, the camera includes a 9900mAh battery, which Xiaomi says can last more than one week on a full charge. It is also paired with a 7.6W solar panel, making it suitable for outdoor locations where traditional wiring is difficult or impossible.

Each of the two 5MP cameras can capture 3K ultra-clear footage, while the f/1.6 large aperture helps improve image quality in low-light scenes. Xiaomi also uses a combined white light and infrared light system on both lenses. When the camera detects a human shape at night, it can automatically activate fill lighting for clearer monitoring.
The camera also supports AOV intelligent event recording. With dynamic frame rate adjustment, it can reduce recording to one frame every two seconds when no person is detected, helping save more than 90% storage space. When a person appears, it returns to normal recording speed.
