Xiaomi has officially introduced the new Mijia Shower Head through a crowdfunding campaign in China, expanding its growing smart home ecosystem with a premium bathroom accessory focused on comfort, durability, and modern aesthetics. The new product combines a minimalist Xiaomi design language with practical daily-use upgrades such as a large top spray system, piano-style water controls, and multi-channel water output support. The crowdfunding price starts at around $124, while the regular retail price is approximately $152 in China.
Xiaomi Mijia Shower Head focuses on premium bathroom upgrades
The newly announced Xiaomi Mijia Shower Head features a modern industrial design with tempered glass surfaces and metallic finishes available in multiple color options. Xiaomi highlights that the shower system is compatible with different water heater types, making it suitable for a wide range of homes and apartments.
One of the biggest highlights is the massive 305mm square rainfall top spray system designed to provide a more immersive shower experience. Xiaomi also integrated a 370mm extra-large storage shelf directly into the body, allowing users to place shampoo bottles, soaps, and accessories conveniently without requiring additional bathroom shelves.
Premium materials and advanced water control system
Xiaomi says the Mijia Shower Head uses antibacterial 59-grade brass with integrated unibody molding for better durability and corrosion resistance. The device also includes:
- Piano-style independent water control switches
- Stepless temperature adjustment knob
- Four separate water output modes
- One-button water control
- Simultaneous multi-channel water output support
- Tempered glass front panel
The piano-key inspired controls are one of the most visually unique aspects of the product. Instead of traditional rotary-only controls, Xiaomi designed dedicated physical switches that allow users to quickly change water modes more comfortably.
Crowdfunding price and availability
The Xiaomi Mijia Shower Head is currently available through Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding in China. Xiaomi listed the product with:
- Suggested retail price: 1099 yuan (~$152)
- Crowdfunding price: 899 yuan (~$124)
At the moment, Xiaomi has not announced global availability for this bathroom accessory, meaning the product is currently exclusive to the Chinese market.
