Xiaomi has updated the device center in its HyperOS 4 system to enhance ecosystem management across cars, homes, and devices. The new center features a card-based layout designed to help users find devices quickly, no matter how many are connected.
The update also adds support for switching between different homes, allowing users to manage devices in multiple households seamlessly. Frequently used devices can be pinned to the top for easier access. This redesign aims to improve the user experience in managing Xiaomi’s growing ecosystem under HyperOS 4.
HyperOS 4 Beta Testing Continues with New Device Recruitment
The HyperOS 4 Beta rollout started on August 14. Xiaomi recently announced recruitment for a second batch of eligible smartphones and tablets through the Xiaomi Community. Interested users meeting the criteria can apply to join the beta testing program and try the new features firsthand.
The recruitment reflects Xiaomi’s ongoing efforts to refine HyperOS 4 prior to a wider release.
