A new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has sparked major discussions in the Xiaomi community. The source revealed that a mysterious 7-inch performance-focused smartphone is currently being tested with a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chipset and a battery capacity exceeding 10,000mAh. While the leaker did not directly confirm the device name, many users in the comments immediately pointed toward the upcoming REDMI Turbo 6. However, there may be another possibility that better matches the leaked specifications: the rumored REDMI K90 Ultra.
Digital Chat Station reveals mysterious giant Xiaomi phone
According to the leak, Xiaomi is testing a very unusual combination for a flagship-level performance phone:
- Massive 7-inch display
- 2K screen resolution
- 3nm Dimensity 9-series processor
- Battery capacity above 10,000mAh
- Possible ultra-high refresh rate RGB OLED panel
The leaker also asked followers whether they would prefer a traditional 2K display or an ultra-high refresh rate RGB OLED panel instead. This suggests Xiaomi is still evaluating the final display technology during engineering tests.
This configuration immediately attracted attention because it does not fully match existing rumors surrounding the REDMI Turbo lineup. Instead, it aligns more closely with another mysterious Xiaomi device internally known as “Warsaw.” what we found.
The mysterious “Warsaw” device could be REDMI K90 Ultra
Recent our Xiaomi MiCode findings previously revealed a China-exclusive smartphone carrying the codename “Warsaw” with the model number P12X. Current Xiaomi device mappings strongly suggest the following lineup:
- P12 → REDMI K90 Max
- P12A → Xiaomi 17T
- P12U → Xiaomi 17T Pro
- P12X → Unknown device
Because according to Mi Code the Warsaw device is also uses a MediaTek chipset, there is growing speculation that P12X may actually become the REDMI K90 Ultra. This would also explain the flagship-tier specifications mentioned in the new leak.
Some users previously believed Xiaomi had completely cancelled the REDMI K Ultra lineup after the REDMI K80 Ultra. However, this latest information suggests the company may still be developing a successor internally.
Why this device would make sense for Xiaomi
A 10,000mAh battery combined with a flagship MediaTek chipset could position this smartphone as one of Xiaomi’s most ambitious performance-focused devices ever. The large 7-inch display would also target gamers and power users looking for extreme battery endurance and sustained performance.
The use of a 3nm Dimensity 9-series chip is especially interesting because MediaTek’s latest flagship processors have become increasingly competitive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform in gaming efficiency and thermal performance.
If Xiaomi chooses an RGB OLED panel with an ultra-high refresh rate, the device could also become one of the most visually advanced gaming-oriented smartphones in the REDMI lineup.
