Xiaomi 18 Fold: Next Generation Xiaomi XRING Chipset
The foldable model carries the codename Lhasa and the internal identifier Q18. Its Chinese model number is 2608BPX34C, while Mi Code currently lists only China as an expected market.

The phone is expected to use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 or a higher Pro version of the chipset. Its reported camera system includes a 200MP SmartSens main sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch format. The main sensor may be the SmartSens SCC80XS or SCC90XS, although the final choice has not been confirmed.

Unlike the more expensive models, the standard Xiaomi 18 reportedly has only two rear cameras: a 200MP main camera and an ultrawide camera. The resolution of the ultrawide sensor has not been confirmed.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: New Top-Tier Model
The most advanced model carries the codename HongKong and the internal identifier Q5. Its official retail name has not been confirmed, but it is to be the top-tier version of the Xiaomi 18 series and may launch as the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

Other reported features include ultra-narrow display bezels, an approximately 8,500mAh battery, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. The 8,500mAh figure would make this model the largest-battery device in the current Xiaomi 18 lineup. However, the specification remains unconfirmed.
Xiaomi Skips the Xiaomi 18 Ultra
Chinese phone brands are reportedly reconsidering their Ultra models this year because of rising component costs. Such phones could approach the $2,000 price range, which may have led several manufacturers to cancel or delay their most expensive flagships. This may explain Xiaomi’s reported changes to the Xiaomi 18 series. The company appears to have revised its internal model positions, moving Q3 to Q2 and Q2 to Q1.
The Q5 identifier was previously associated with MIX-related products in some lineups. However, Xiaomi may now be using Q5 for its new Pro Max positioning. Earlier models do not show a consistent numbering link. The Xiaomi 17 Pro reportedly used the Q200 identifier, while the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max used P2. This suggests that identifiers ending in “5” may no longer have a direct connection to the MIX family. The final name of the Hong Kong model therefore remains uncertain.
India May Receive Only Two Xiaomi 18 Models
Recent reports from other sources suggested that the Xiaomi 18 Pro could also launch in India. However, the latest Mi Code lineup does not support that claim. At the moment, only the Q2 Xiaomi 18 and Q5 top-tier model have Indian model numbers. The Q1 Xiaomi 18 Pro is listed for several international markets, but not India. Regional plans may change early in the development process, but since the release date is now approaching, these plans can’t be changed. Based on the current data, however, India is expected to receive two Xiaomi 18 series models.
