The long wait for Xiaomi 13T users may finally be ending. Xiaomi has received new internal Xiaomi HyperOS 3 builds for both Global and EEA variants today, signaling that the Android 16-based update is now in its final preparation stage and could be released very soon.
Xiaomi actually started internal testing for the Xiaomi 13T nearly three months ago. However, while almost every other supported Xiaomi smartphone already received Xiaomi HyperOS 3 during that period, the Xiaomi 13T remained stuck in development limbo due to ongoing optimization and stability work. Now, fresh internal builds dated May 15, 2026 strongly suggest Xiaomi is finally preparing the device for public rollout.
New Xiaomi HyperOS 3 internal builds detected today
The following new internal Android 16 builds appeared today for the Xiaomi 13T:

These are internal test versions, meaning Xiaomi engineers are currently completing final stability checks and software optimization before wider deployment begins. Since the builds were updated today after months of ongoing testing, the stable rollout now appears extremely close.
Xiaomi 13T became one of the last devices waiting for HyperOS 3
The Xiaomi 13T situation became increasingly unusual inside the Xiaomi community. Xiaomi HyperOS 3 was already released to most supported devices nearly three months ago, yet the Xiaomi 13T continued receiving only internal builds without a public rollout.
This created significant frustration among users because the device remains one of Xiaomi’s most important globally sold smartphones. The delay likely came from additional Android 16 adaptation work and platform-specific optimization efforts.
Fortunately, the arrival of new internal builds today indicates Xiaomi has now entered the final phase before release.
HyperIsland and upgraded Xiaomi HyperConnect are key highlights
One of the standout additions in Xiaomi HyperOS 3 is HyperIsland, Xiaomi’s advanced dynamic interaction system for notifications, multitasking, live activities, and background processes.

When will Hyper OS 3 come for Xiaomi 13 T Pro?
Another internal test. It’s always just like this and it’s just giving false hopes to be honest. The next update sighting would be another internal test and it would no longer be a surprise. This may be an isolated case but Xiaomi sucks this time.
Just double checked the update versions, these updates were spotted last month so this article is almost a month late. This is just hopeless.
And the little c65 when is it going to receive HyperOS 3 Xiaomi messes up promised updates and did not fulfill I am not going to recommend buying Xiaomi products
I understand software developers. If the software had problems, they probably wouldn’t release it. If there are issues like with the 13TPRO model, and there really are problems, they won’t dare to release an update. But they are working on fixing it, and the update will definitely be available soon.
And all the while, the 13T Pro is stuck on the February security update.
This will be my last Xiaomi phone.

June 2nd and it’s still the same. My 13t is stuck on version 2.0.213.0 and the security update from January 1st. PATHETIC. As mentioned above, almost certainly my last Xiaomi. Whether it’s a pause for the Chinese New Year, or blah blah, excuses continuously. And the worst part is that they officially don’t inform you of anything. Little respect for the users.

I can’t believe I’m typing this, but Indonesia just got HyperOS 3.0.1 for the Xiaomi 13T. Hell must be freezing over. Come on, global rollout! 🧊🔥
