REDMI K90 Max Stays Under 37°C in 2-Hour Extreme Gaming Test

Xiaomi has officially taken the gloves off. In a live-streamed thermal endurance test broadcasted today from Beijing, the company publicly benchmarked the upcoming REDMI K90 Max against two major rival flagships. Expected to launch globally as the Xiaomi 17T Pro without fan, this China-exclusive release is proving that its newly revealed active air-cooling system is not just a marketing gimmick, but a definitive leap in mobile engineering.

The Ultimate 144Hz MOBA Endurance Test

The official Weibo broadcast featured a grueling, continuous 2-hour session of a major MOBA title. The devices were locked at a demanding 144Hz refresh rate with the absolute highest graphical settings applied to push the hardware to its absolute limit. The results, as displayed on the live telemetry graph, were staggering.

Rival “Competitor A”—probably the iQOO 15u—struggled to manage the sustained load. It breached the critical 37°C thermal threshold in just 13 minutes and finished the two-hour test at a toasty 40.0°C. “Competitor B”—possible to be the Honor Win—fared slightly better but still ended the session at 36.9°C.

The REDMI K90 Max, however, maintained an icy grip on its thermals. Powered by its 18.1mm active fan, simulated vortex air ducts, and metal guide fins, the device never crossed the 37°C line throughout the entire 120-minute gauntlet. It finished the heavy-load test at an incredibly cool 34.8°C.

Market Impact and System Enhancements

This live demonstration fundamentally shifts market expectations. Maintaining sub-35°C temperatures during a 144Hz extreme graphics workload means the Dimensity 9500+ chipset is experiencing absolute zero thermal throttling. For gamers, this guarantees perfectly stable frame rates without the screen dimming, the battery draining inefficiently, or the chassis becoming uncomfortable to hold. While we await official USD pricing from the upcoming Chinese launch, this level of sustained performance easily rivals dedicated, bulky gaming hardware, positioning the REDMI K90 Max as an unparalleled value proposition.
