According to a recent post by technology blogger Digital Chat Station, the upcoming REDMI K100 standard model is said to include a massive 10,000mAh battery. The phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and features a 1.5K resolution high-refresh-rate large display.
This information points to the device being part of the REDMI K100 series, which was outlined by Xiaomi’s China marketing manager Wei Siqi during the August 11 REDMI K100 Pro series launch. Alongside the K100 Pro Max and K100 Pro, the lineup is planned to include a standard edition and a dedicated gaming flagship model.
Xiaomi REDMI product manager indicated that the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max represent the highest-tier, fully equipped models in the series. Meanwhile, the standard K100 version is expected to feature a “super long” battery life, aligning with the rumored 10,000mAh capacity.
This suggests that the REDMI K100 standard model will prioritize battery endurance while maintaining a high-performance chipset and a sharp, smooth display. So far, Xiaomi has not confirmed these specifications officially.
