REDMI Headphones Neo Global is coming: 42dB ANC, 72-Hour Battery

The global audio market is about to get a highly competitive new entrant. Recent listings on overseas e-commerce platforms have prematurely unveiled the REDMI Headphones Neo, an upcoming over-ear audio solution from Xiaomi. Spotted by tech media outlets and backed by preliminary retail listings, these headphones are positioning themselves as a formidable budget-friendly option, packing premium features like robust Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and massive battery longevity.

Technical Specifications & Features

Despite their entry-level positioning, the REDMI Headphones Neo do not compromise on core audio technologies. The leaked promotional materials and platform specifications reveal a highly capable spec sheet:

  • Audio Hardware: The headphones are equipped with 40mm titanium-coated drivers, designed to deliver a rich, dynamic sound signature.

  • Frequency Range: They support a broad frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz, earning them the official Hi-Res Audio certification for high-fidelity playback.

  • Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): A standout feature for this price bracket, the Neo model supports up to 42dB of active noise cancellation, effectively muting ambient environment noise for an immersive listening experience.

  • Connectivity: Powered by Bluetooth 5.4, the headphones promise ultra-low latency, stable multi-device connections, and improved energy efficiency.

  • Endurance: Battery anxiety is practically eliminated with an “ultra-long” battery life of up to 72 hours on a single charge (with ANC disabled).

Device Availability & Color Variants

Based on early platform listings, the REDMI Headphones Neo will be available in three distinct, minimalist colorways:

  • Obsidian Black

  • Sand White

  • Fog Blue

Note: While the Philippine Lazada listing currently only shows availability for Obsidian Black and Sand White, wholesale listings confirm the Fog Blue variant will also be part of the global rollout.

Pricing

The REDMI Headphones Neo are aggressively targeting the entry-level audio segment, offering an incredibly high price-to-performance ratio rather than attempting to compete with flagship, high-end models like the Sony WH-1000XM series.

Based on the leaked e-commerce data, the global pricing strategy is highly competitive:

  • Lazada (Philippines): Listed with a standard retail price of ₱4,299 (approximately $73 USD), with early-bird or discounted pricing dropping it to just ₱3,299 (approximately $56 USD).

  • Diglex Electronics (Wholesale): Spotted at a bulk-order price of $36.70 USD per unit (minimum order of 100 units).
