POCO X9 Pro and REDMI Turbo 6 series appear in new Mi Code leak

XimiTime is back with new Xiaomi leaks. Newly tracked model numbers point to the POCO X9 Pro and POCO X9 Pro Max, which are expected to share their hardware with the REDMI Turbo 6 and REDMI Turbo 6 Max in China. Both series are also expected to reach India, continuing Xiaomi’s unusual approach of selling the same phones under two different brands.

POCO X9 Pro and REDMI Turbo 6 Share the Sofia Codename

The first device is associated with the internal codename sofia, also identified as Q10 with the following identifiers recorded:

  • Model numbers: 2703BPC40G, 2703BRT40I, 2703BPC40I, M407CF
  • Expected names: POCO X9 Pro for global and Indian markets, and REDMI Turbo 6 for China and India.

These identifiers suggest that Xiaomi is preparing multiple regional versions of the device. However, the exact differences between these versions have not been confirmed.

POCO X9 Pro Max and REDMI Turbo 6 Max Also Appear

The second device uses the internal codename denver, also identified as Q10U. Its recorded model numbers are:

  • 27011RT78I
  • 27011PC78I
  • 27011PC78G

This device is expected to launch as the POCO X9 Pro Max in global and Indian markets, while China is expected to receive the REDMI Turbo 6 Max. There is one missing detail: the Chinese model number of the REDMI Turbo 6 Max is currently unknown.

Expected Markets Include Europe, Türkiye and India

The current information from Mi Code points to the following expected markets for the upcoming phones:

  • Global
  • EEA (European Economic Area)
  • Türkiye
  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Taiwan
  • Russia
  • Japan
  • China

These are expected markets based on the current leak, not a confirmed launch schedule. Xiaomi has not officially announced the devices or confirmed their availability in each region.

Expected Launch Window Falls Between January and March 2027

Based on their model numbers, the POCO X9 Pro, POCO X9 Pro Max, REDMI Turbo 6 and REDMI Turbo 6 Max could go on sale between January and March 2027. This is an estimated launch window inferred from Xiaomi’s model-number patterns, not an official release date. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the launch schedule for either series.

Xiaomi Will Continue the REDMI Turbo and POCO Overlap

The REDMI Turbo 5 previously reached a market outside China in India. The upcoming REDMI Turbo 6 and REDMI Turbo 6 Max are also expected to be sold in India, alongside their anticipated POCO counterparts.

This makes the naming situation particularly interesting. Xiaomi appears set to sell the same phone under the REDMI and POCO brands in India, while using REDMI Turbo names in China and POCO X-series names in other markets.

For now, the model numbers and codenames provide the main evidence. Specifications, prices, launch dates and the final regional naming details remain unconfirmed.
