Xiaomi is preparing to launch the POCO F9 series in overseas markets, based on the REDMI K100 Pro and Pro Max models, according to a recent report by WinFuture.
Display and Design Features
The Poco F9 Pro will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a peak refresh rate of 185Hz. Its larger sibling, the Poco F9 Ultra, will sport a 6.85-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels and the same 185Hz refresh rate. Both devices use TCL CSOT panels covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 7i and offer premium metal frames.
Hardware Specifications
Powering both models is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with a CPU clock speed of up to 4.6GHz. Memory configurations will include 12GB or 16GB of RAM, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
Camera and Audio Enhancements
The POCO F9 Pro will offer a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). The F9 Ultra extends optical zoom capabilities to 5x with OIS. Additionally, the Ultra model will have an LED light ring near the camera module dedicated to notifications. Both phones include upgraded audio hardware featuring a Bose speaker system.
Battery Capacity
The POCO F9 Pro is equipped with a 6330mAh battery, whereas the Ultra version packs a larger 8050mAh cell, supporting longer usage.
