The POCO F9 Ultra could arrive globally with a slightly smaller battery than the REDMI K100 Pro Max. Mi Code information indicates that the POCO model may use an 8,050mAh battery, while the REDMI K100 Pro Max is equipped with a 9,070mAh silicon-carbon battery.
The difference is 1,020mAh, which is roughly 11.2% lower than the Chinese model’s capacity.
Still an exceptionally large battery
An 8,050mAh battery would remain unusually large for a global flagship phone. However, it would not fully match the endurance potential of the REDMI K100 Pro Max, which pairs its 9,070mAh cell with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The expected battery change is much smaller than the reported gap between the POCO F9 Pro and REDMI K100. Still, users hoping for a direct hardware match should be aware that battery capacity may differ between the two versions.
Global hardware can differ from China models
Xiaomi and POCO sometimes adjust battery hardware for global markets. The reason may involve regional certification requirements, internal component changes, or market-specific product positioning. POCO has not officially announced the F9 Ultra or confirmed its final battery specifications. Mi Code can reveal early hardware information, but retail details may still change before launch. For now, the code suggests that the POCO F9 Ultra will be the global counterpart of the REDMI K100 Pro Max, but with an 8,050mAh battery instead of 9,070mAh.
