Xiaomi has officially started sales of its new Xiaomi Wireless Mouse 4 Pro, bringing several premium features typically found in much more expensive peripherals. The new mouse introduces a TOG sensor capable of tracking on glass surfaces, a dynamic electromagnetic scroll wheel, and support for connecting up to three devices simultaneously. The accessory is currently available exclusively in China for 199 CNY (approximately $28 USD).
Premium sensor works even on glass
One of the standout features of the Xiaomi Wireless Mouse 4 Pro is its TOG universal sensor, which allows the mouse to track accurately on glass surfaces at least 4 mm thick, eliminating the need for a traditional mouse pad in many situations.
Combined with Xiaomi’s optimized tracking algorithm, the sensor is designed to deliver smooth and precise cursor movement across a variety of surfaces.
Dynamic electromagnetic scroll wheel
Another major upgrade is the dynamic electromagnetic scroll wheel. Unlike conventional mechanical wheels, Xiaomi’s implementation automatically switches between:
- Stepped scrolling for precise navigation
- Free-spin scrolling for quickly moving through long documents and webpages
The switching behavior adapts to the user’s scrolling speed and finger movement, creating a more natural experience.
