Xiaomi publishes May 29 HyperOS 3 stability update report

Xiaomi has officially published its latest weekly Xiaomi HyperOS bug fix progress report for May 29, 2026, confirming that several important software issues affecting flagship Xiaomi and REDMI devices have now been resolved internally. The newest fixes mainly target the Xiaomi 17 series, including the Xiaomi 17 Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, alongside the Xiaomi 13 Pro and REDMI K90 Pro Max.

According to Xiaomi, these fixes will arrive in upcoming Xiaomi HyperOS 3 updates. As usual, China builds receive patches first, while global variants typically obtain the same optimizations a few weeks later after additional testing. Users experiencing these bugs are advised to remain patient while Xiaomi prepares wider deployments.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 bug fixes confirmed

The official Xiaomi Community announcement reveals that developers have already fixed the following issues internally and users can verify them in future software releases.

REDMI K90 Pro Max — HyperOS 3.0.305.0

  • Game Turbo unable to launch gaming toolbox in certain situations

Global users may also benefit soon

Although some mentioned devices are currently China-exclusive, several fixes may later appear on global Xiaomi and POCO devices running similar Xiaomi HyperOS 3 frameworks.

The REDMI K90 Pro Max is especially important because the standard REDMI K series traditionally launches globally under the POCO branding. Xiaomi often shares core system optimizations between Chinese and global software branches after initial verification is completed.

The Xiaomi 17 Max and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max currently remain China-exclusive smartphones with no confirmed global variants yet.

Xiaomi continues HyperOS 3 stabilization efforts

This latest report highlights Xiaomi’s aggressive software optimization strategy for Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Many fixed issues involve core user experience components such as automatic brightness, notifications, Game Turbo, weather synchronization, UI rendering, gallery stability, and system scheduling behavior.

Xiaomi also stated that the listed devices are representative models used during testing. If other Xiaomi, REDMI, or POCO devices experience similar bugs, the same fixes may eventually be integrated into their software updates as well.

Peace be upon you, I have a Poco F7 Ultra phone. So far, the AI in the gallery when entering to edit photos does not work to enlarge images nor to erase excess parts. Please note this detail and work on it through software development. Thank you.
