Xiaomi officially teases Pearl White version of clip-on earbuds

Xiaomi has officially revealed the “Pearl White” version of its upcoming clip-on wireless earbuds as part of the company’s ongoing pre-launch teaser campaign. The new earbuds are expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max later this month, marking Xiaomi’s entry into the premium open-ear wearable audio segment.

Just yesterday, Xiaomi showcased the gold color option of the same earbuds, indicating that the company has now entered its traditional “pre-heating” phase before launch. This gradual reveal strategy is commonly used by Xiaomi to build anticipation ahead of major ecosystem announcements.

Pearl White version offers a cleaner futuristic design

Compared to the gold variant introduced earlier, the Pearl White edition focuses on a softer and more minimal aesthetic. The earbuds maintain Xiaomi’s futuristic clip-on open-ear structure while combining it with a clean matte white finish and transparent acoustic detailing.

The earbuds use a seamless curved unibody design that connects the speaker and battery sections through a C-shaped bridge. Xiaomi also continues to emphasize the transparent sound-emitting sphere integrated into the speaker module, giving the product a futuristic appearance rarely seen in mainstream TWS products.

The charging case follows the same premium design language, featuring:

  • Rounded rectangular structure
  • Leather-textured lid finish
  • Compact portable form factor
  • Minimalistic Xiaomi branding

Xiaomi 17 Max launch expected to introduce the earbuds officially

These earbuds have not entered commercial sale yet. Xiaomi is currently only teasing the product ahead of its official launch event later this month.

According to current information, the earbuds are expected to debut together with the Xiaomi 17 Max during Xiaomi’s upcoming ecosystem presentation. The company appears to be positioning the earbuds as a premium wearable accessory designed to complement its next-generation flagship ecosystem.

Like many Xiaomi ecosystem products, the earbuds are expected to launch in China first before expanding into global markets later.

Manual reveals advanced hardware features

Previously leaked user manual images circulating across Chinese social media platforms have already revealed several hardware details before the official announcement.

According to the leaked documentation, the charging case includes:

  • USB Type-C charging support
  • Integrated status indicator lights
  • Dedicated power button
  • Built-in speaker module

The integrated speaker strongly suggests support for a Find My Device-style feature that could help users locate the charging case through audible playback.

The earbuds themselves also reportedly support expanded touch gesture controls. The touch-sensitive area spans both the curved bridge and outer earbud surfaces for easier daily interaction.

Xiaomi continues expanding its wearable ecosystem

The new clip-on earbuds appear to be closely tied to Xiaomi’s broader Xiaomi HyperOS and Xiaomi HyperConnect ecosystem strategy. Open-ear audio products have recently gained popularity because they allow users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.

This makes them especially suitable for:

  • Office usage
  • Outdoor walking
  • Fitness activities
  • Long listening sessions
  • Multi-device ecosystem connectivity

With both Gold and Pearl White variants already revealed before launch, Xiaomi will likely continue teasing additional features, AI integrations, and ecosystem functionality in the coming days ahead of the Xiaomi 17 Max launch event.
