Xiaomi Plans Mi Band Return to India by Year-End

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, Xiaomi intends to reintroduce its Mi Band series to the Indian market before the end of 2024. This marks a potential comeback after nearly five years, as Xiaomi last released a fitness band in India with the Mi Band 6 back in 2021. Subsequent Mi Band models have not been officially offered in India since then.

The latest Mi Band in China is the Mi Band 11, launched in September 2023. It comes in several variants including standard, NFC, ceramic, and full metal editions. Key improvements in this series include enhanced sleep tracking, a refined system ecosystem, and better wearing comfort. The Mi Band 11 also debuted Xiaomi’s new Surge OS 4, with prices starting from about $40 (289 Chinese yuan) in China.

While Xiaomi has not confirmed details about the Indian launch or which Mi Band model will arrive, the planned return highlights the brand’s renewed focus on the Indian wearable market.
