Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 18 Standard Edition is expected to feature a 6.4-inch 1.5K M11 flat display. This information surfaced on September 28 via Weibo user @BaldPanda, who also indicated a likely launch around December.
According to the leak, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. It will have a 7200mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging alongside wireless charging capability.
The camera setup is notably advanced, reportedly including a 200MP main sensor sized at 1/1.28 inches which is same with Xiaomi 18 Pro, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom.
Additionally, a device matching the model number M261DB was certified by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on September 23. This certification likely corresponds to the Xiaomi 18, reinforcing the leak’s credibility. 26122PN61G model number will be global model number. No India variant this year.
Xiaomi’s Group President Lu Weibing has previously hinted at the Xiaomi 18’s upcoming reveal, confirming its existence without sharing launch specifics.
The confirmed Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and high-resolution camera modules indicate that Xiaomi 18 Standard Edition will be a truly iPhone 18 Pro rival.
