Xiaomi has officially introduced two new tablets in China: the Xiaomi Pad 9 and the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro. Both models feature 3.2K resolution displays with adaptive 144Hz refresh rates and come with slim metallic designs.
Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Pad 9 offers an 11.2-inch screen and runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It includes up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Powering the device is a 9,720mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging.
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro is the flagship model, featuring a larger 12.5-inch 3.2K display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM alongside UFS 4.1 storage. The Pro model boasts an 11,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging capabilities.
Additional Pro features include a six-speaker audio system and an ultra-thin 5.8mm body. Both tablets are available in Silver, Cloud Cedar Green, and Black color options.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 9 starts at about CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 42,800) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. A Soft-Light Edition with an 8GB + 256GB configuration is also offered for users preferring an anti-glare display. The top configuration reaches CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 54,000).
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro is priced from CNY 3,799 (about Rs. 54,000) for 8GB + 128GB and goes up to CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 71,300) for 16GB + 256GB. Pre-orders are open now in China, with official retail availability expected soon.
