Xiaomi has revealed official images of the 18 Fold mid-fold phone in two colors: Warm Gold White and Black. The device will launch on September 7 at the Xiaomi Autumn Flagship New Product Launch event.
Design and Display Features
The Xiaomi 18 Fold features a mid-fold design with a very narrow symmetrical hinge and large rounded corners. The rear has a distinctive running track-style Leica camera module and a flat side frame that wraps around the device.
The foldable phone includes a 5.38-inch outer display and a 7.58-inch inner screen. Both screens use “Super Pixel Technology” with a full RGB pixel layout. The displays deliver a peak brightness of 4000 nits and support up to 30% Average Picture Level (APL) activation for everyday scenarios. The inner screen also comes with an AR film layer.
Hardware and Imaging
This model marks the debut of the Xuánjiè O3 AI flagship SoC. Its inner foldable display is designed with a √2:1 aspect ratio, matching standard paper proportions, which increases effective viewing area.
The phone’s camera setup boasts Leica collaboration with a 200MP ultra-clear main sensor featuring a 1/1.56″ large sensor size. It includes a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
Battery and Charging Specs
The Xiaomi 18 Fold carries a 6000mAh battery branded as the Xiaomi Jinsha River cell. It supports fast charging with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This device will be China only.
