Xiaomi has updated its HyperOS “Super Island” feature to allow users to quickly access commonly used codes like meal pick-up and package collection codes by swiping three fingers upward. This new function lets users avoid searching for temporary codes by displaying them directly on the Super Island, improving convenience for daily tasks.
Unified Settings and Code Recognition
The update introduces a unified settings page, enabling users to control which apps can display information on the Super Island. Currently, the system recognizes various types of codes including pick-up codes, meal pick-up codes, queue codes, storage codes, and return codes. These cover most everyday scenarios where such codes are frequently used.
How the Feature Works
When a page containing a recognized code is open, users can swipe up with three fingers to have the system identify and extract the code automatically. It then adds the code to the Super Island for easy access. The feature supports multiple Super Islands, allowing different codes to be shown independently. Additionally, the codes remain accessible even when the phone is locked, so users don’t need to unlock the device repeatedly to find them.
Requirements and Availability
This capability is only available on smartphones and requires the Super AI app to be updated to version 8.2 or later. Users must also ensure the three-finger swipe gesture is enabled under “Settings > Xiaomi Hyper AI > Super AI > Super AI Memory.” Availability of the feature depends on the device model and functional compatibility.
Future Plans and Additional Updates
Xiaomi plans to expand Super Island with more practical scenarios based on user feedback. Recent updates also brought features such as McDonald’s meal pick-up codes, game reservations, and live sports scores directly onto the Super Island.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is testing “Super AI 2.0” internally, focusing on improving user experience through features like the upcoming “Super AI Inspiration Ball,” expected to enter Beta testing by September. This new interaction will include refined drag animations and enhanced content recognition. Users can provide suggestions and feedback via the “Service and Feedback” app or the “Xiaomi Community – Beta” forum.
For those looking to stay updated on Xiaomi’s HyperOS features and updates like Super Island, the MemeOS Enhancer app offers a convenient way to check for available updates and feature eligibility. Feature availability may vary by device and region.
