Xiaomi may be preparing another performance-focused Redmi device for the Chinese market, as recent leaks suggest the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a Snapdragon-based platform, active cooling, and a high-capacity battery. The recently discovered model number M332BF and the codename «warsaw» appear to indicate that this is a device exclusive to China.
Snapdragon performance with active air cooling
According to information shared by Digital Chat Station , Xiaomi is working on a new Redmi Ultra model that could utilize a Snapdragon 8E+ platform combined with what is described as Redmi’s most powerful air cooling system to date. This combination aims for sustained performance rather than just short bursts in benchmark tests.
The key idea is simple: it seems Xiaomi is going to incorporate the «Snapdragon + fan + high-capacity battery» formula into the Redmi K90 Ultra range. This would make the device a direct performance-focused alternative to models like the Honor WIN and WIN RT, without reaching the level of the more extreme Redmi K90 Max , in Xiaomi’s internal positioning.
The leak also mentions a large 8K+ battery , which likely refers to a capacity exceeding 8,000 mAh. Combined with active cooling, this could allow the Redmi K90 Ultra to offer longer gaming sessions, greater thermal stability, and improved sustained frame rates under heavy workloads.

How the system improves with the update / market impact
The Redmi K90 Ultra appears to be positioned as a more affordable, high-performance flagship, rather than a direct replacement for the Redmi K90 Max. The Max model uses a Dimensity 9500 platform and is aimed at Xiaomi users seeking maximum performance, while the Redmi K90 Ultra seems to focus on Snapdragon-based performance with active cooling and a more aggressive price-to-performance ratio.
The inclusion of 100W wired charging also suggests that Xiaomi doesn’t want this device to look like a cut-down model. A large battery, fast charging, powerful cooling, and a flat screen with a high refresh rate would make it appealing to users who prioritize gaming, battery life, and long-term thermal management.
However, our findings indicate that the M332BF and Warsaw are intended solely for the Chinese market . There will be no global variant of this device. This means that users worldwide should not expect a release under either the Redmi or POCO brand.
