Xiaomi has launched a special printed manual titled “Smartphone Guide for Seniors,” making one million copies available across China. Each customer can claim only one copy. The guide aims to help older users navigate smartphone basics. It covers essential topics such as enlarging font size and volume, identifying app icons, adding phone numbers, downloading and uninstalling apps, and setting wallpapers.
Copies can be picked up at Xiaomi Home stores nationwide. Availability and specific pickup locations can be checked through Xiaomi Home or the Xiaomi Service official WeChat account by sending a message with the province or municipality name followed by “City Hero Station.”
This initiative follows an earlier campaign in February, when over 70,000 printed smartphone usage guides were distributed through more than 2,000 Xiaomi Home locations. The current release is part of Xiaomi’s ongoing effort to simplify smartphone use for seniors in China.
