REDMI K90 Ultra tipped with Snapdragon chip and air cooling

Xiaomi may be preparing another performance-focused REDMI device for the Chinese market, as new leaks point to the upcoming REDMI K90 Ultra featuring a Snapdragon-based platform, active cooling, and a massive battery. Newly found M332BF model and warsaw codename appears to be a China-only device.

Snapdragon performance with active air cooling

According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is working on a new REDMI Ultra model that may use a Snapdragon 8E+ platform paired with what is described as REDMI’s strongest air-cooling system so far. This combination targets sustained performance rather than only short benchmark peaks.

The key idea is simple: Xiaomi appears to be bringing the “Snapdragon + fan + large battery” formula into the REDMI K90 Ultra lineup. This would make the device a direct performance-focused alternative to models such as Honor WIN and WIN RT, while staying below the more extreme REDMI K90 Max in Xiaomi’s internal positioning.

The leak also mentions an 8K+ large battery, which likely refers to a battery capacity above 8,000mAh. Combined with active cooling, this could allow the REDMI K90 Ultra to deliver longer gaming sessions, stronger thermal stability, and better sustained frame rates under heavy workloads.

All things about REDMI K90 Ultra

  • REDMI K90 Ultra
  • Codename found by us: warsaw
  • Internal series reference: P12X
  • Model number: M332BF
  • Market status: China-only
  • Certification detail: 100W wired charging support

How the update improves the system / market impact

The REDMI K90 Ultra looks positioned as a more affordable performance flagship rather than a direct replacement for the REDMI K90 Max. The Max model uses a Dimensity 9500 platform and is aimed at Xiaomi’s most extreme performance users, while the REDMI K90 Ultra appears to focus on Snapdragon-based performance with active cooling and a more aggressive price-performance balance.

The presence of 100W wired charging also suggests Xiaomi doesn’t want this device to feel like a stripped-down model. A large battery, fast charging, strong cooling, and a flat high-refresh-rate display would make it attractive for users who prioritize gaming, battery life, and long-term thermal control.

However, our findings show that M332BF and warsaw is only prepared for the Chinese market. There will not a global variant of this device. This means global users should not expect an release under the same REDMI or POCO branding.
