Xiaomi has confirmed that the stable release of HyperOS 4 will debut with the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max and the Xiaomi 18 Fold. The announcement, made on Weibo, highlights HyperOS 4’s focus on enhancing productivity and AI-driven features, especially for large-screen devices.
New Productivity Features on Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max will be the first device to ship with the brand-new HyperOS 4 system. It offers a professional productivity experience tailored for its 3.4K primary color display. The tablet supports a multi-split screen mode that allows running up to six applications simultaneously, enabling efficient multitasking and collaboration.
HyperOS 4 on the Pad 9 Pro Max integrates a professional browser plugin with web page translation and AI Q&A capabilities. The Xiaomi Notes app has been upgraded to support one-click structured sorting, helping users organize scattered ideas quickly. Additionally, the tablet uses a full-featured Type-C port to connect as a computer secondary screen, a professional digital screen, or a gaming display.
The device is powered by the Xiaomi XRING O3 AI SoC and features a single rear camera. Its large screen and HyperOS 4 enhancements clearly aim to position the Pad 9 Pro Max as a productivity tool for professionals and creatives.
