POCO has introduced the POCO X8 smartphone to the global market, targeting the mid-range segment. The device features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and a notably large 8340mAh battery.
Display and Design
The POCO X8 sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a sharp resolution of 2772×1280 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR with a peak brightness of 3500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone measures 8.6mm thick and weighs 223 grams. Color options include silver, orange, and black.
Hardware and Performance
Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor paired with LPDDR4X RAM options of 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB. Storage choices are 128GB with UFS 2.2 or 256GB with UFS 3.1. It supports 67W wired fast charging to quickly recharge its 8340mAh battery.
Camera and Connectivity
The camera setup includes a 50MP main rear sensor with optical image stabilization, complemented by a 2MP auxiliary lens. The front-facing camera has a 16MP sensor. For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM capability, NFC, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The POCO X8 also boasts IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
Software and Features
The phone runs on HyperOS 3 and includes a special underwater mode designed for photo and video capture in wet environments.

The POCO X8 is set to launch in Europe and other markets. The 8GB+256GB model is priced at 319 euros, while the 12GB+256GB variant costs 359 euros
