Xiaomi has updated a large batch of system applications linked to Xiaomi HyperOS 4 development. The new packages cover major user-facing apps such as HyperOS Launcher, Gallery, Camera, Always-On Display, Security Center, Weather, and Notes, alongside connectivity, cloud, AI, and payment services. Most version strings include August 2026 build dates. However, several are marked as DEV, ALPHA, CN, or release-channel builds, meaning this is an app update batch rather than confirmation of a public HyperOS 4 OTA rollout.
HyperOS Launcher, Gallery and Interface Apps Are Included
The most important update in this batch is the HyperOS Launcher. Xiaomi has prepared two new Version 8 release builds, including RELEASE-8.01.02.6144-260818-08251107-R. The package is central to the home screen, recent-apps menu, folders, widgets, and animations, making it particularly relevant for the interface changes expected with HyperOS 4.
Gallery, Always-On Display, Mi Wallpaper, and System UI Plugin have also received new builds. The AOD and Wallpaper packages carry DEV and ALPHA labels, so users should not assume that every visual change is ready for stable HyperOS devices.
Security, Camera, Connectivity and AI Services Also Updated
The app batch also includes a new Camera build, updated Security Center and Security Core releases, plus refreshed Xiaomi services for Mi Share, Mi Connect, Mi Mirror, MiLink, Cloud Backup, location, and voice features.
No official changelog has been published for these individual builds. Therefore, the version numbers alone cannot confirm specific fixes, new AI tools, or visual changes. Some packages may be intended only for China builds, internal testing, or selected Xiaomi devices. Users should install system APKs only when the package is compatible with their device and software branch.
